The Makita LS1040N is an upgraded version of the predecessor Model LS1040. The difference is no lock-off switch. The machine benefits from higher body rigidity which gives more accurate cuts, Bevel Cut (left only) and more efficient chip/sawdust collection. Also boasts more stable cutting by holding material more widely with sub fence.
