The Makita DCS553ZJ has a fully brushless motor for long life and maximum power. Its compact and lightweight design makes it extremely portable and the conveniently located shaft and lock means easy blade replacement. The electric break conserves battery power and decreases the likelihood of injury caused by a spinning bit. The built-in dust collection box allows for easy disposal of metal chip/dust which can be thrown away by opening the cap of the dust box. Automatic torque drive technology automatically changes the cutting speed according to load condition for optimum operation and the LED job light allows for great precision even in darker areas. It has been designed with the end user in mind due to its lock off button which prevents accidental start up.
